Meet in front of Clarence T.C. Ching Hall Free Event

Free Event

New students and their ‘ohana (family) are invited to explore the path to the top, and see the spectacular view of Honolulu, Waikiki, and the Ko‘olau mountains. Hawaii’s most recognized landmark is known for its historic hiking trail, stunning coastal views, and military history. Join Chaminade University's President, Dr. Lynn Babington, and other university staff as we walk the 0.8 mile hike from trailhead to the summit. Paths are well defined and open for any level of experience.

Wear good walking shoes, bring a hat, water bottle, and some sunscreen. Additional water will be available. Transportation departs campus in front of Clarence T.C. Ching Hall at 7:15am and we will return by 10am.

You will need to RSVP ahead of time for this event. Please complete this form by Tuesday, August 5, 2025, if you are interested in joining us.
