About this Event
The “Therapy Is Cool” Swag Giveaway is an outreach initiative by the Chaminade University Counseling Center designed to promote mental health awareness, reduce stigma around seeking support, and boost campus morale. This event offers a fun, approachable way to engage students in conversations about mental wellness and to remind the campus community that taking care of your mental health is both important and normalized.
Students can stop by the Counseling Center or meet our team around campus to grab a free swag bag filled with uplifting items such as T-shirts, stress balls, fidgets, snacks, and resource materials. Each bag encourages positive self-care while helping spread awareness about available mental health support.
In addition to in-person engagement, extra swag bags will be dropped off at key locations such as the library, offices, and student lounges—offering a small act of kindness and encouragement to students and staff who might not regularly visit the Counseling Center.
